Bio:
Introduced in 1775, Blue Fluted Plain is Royal Copenhagen’s oldest and most celebrated pattern. Inspired by Chinese blue-and-white porcelain, it is distinguished by its disciplined composition and finely hand-painted decoration. Fish strainers were traditionally used for serving boiled or poached fish and are today highly sought-after collector’s pieces, particularly early examples from the late 19th century in first quality.
